Susan Stone Dale

Susan Angela Stone Dale, 56, of Benton, departed this life unexpectedly on February 3, 2022.

She was born on May 10, 1965, in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late Luther Lee and Reba Jean Stone.

Throughout life, Ms. Susan was known of her love for children.  She loved spending time with her church family and devoted her life to the Lord.  Each child that had the privilege of knowing Susan, felt the presence of her love for them.  She lived her life representing the exact meaning of what a selfless person should be.  She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Luther and Reba Stone, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-one years, Gary Kenneth Dale; siblings, Linda Sanford and David Stone; nieces and nephew, Sheena Nicole Stone, Logan Cross, and Sara Jenkins.

Left to cherish the many memories include her loving children, Wyatt Dale, Zachary and his wife, Maddie Dale; cherished grandchildren, Kymber Reed Dale, Preslee Kay Dale, and Zeke Aren Dale; bonus children, Michael (Tami) Sanford, and Tashie (Mark) Baxter; bonus grandchildren, Hailee Sanford, Dakota Sanford, Cadence McCoig, Lylah McCoig, and Barrett McCoig; siblings, John L. Stone, Sheree Stone, Bobby (Tina) Stone, Mary (Larry) Adams, and Tammy (Wayne) Jones.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Community Fellowship with Pastor Bruce Underwood and Rev. Shaun McCoig officiating.

Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at the church.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Benton Memorial Gardens, with Dakota Sanford, Brian Stone, Nick Jones, Michael Sanford, Mark Baxter, and Rodney Stone serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will Shaney Shaneyfelt and Scott Stone.
