William "Bill" Wiggins

William Ray “Bill” Wiggins, 61, of Delano, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Wiggins was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He liked to fish and spend time outside. He loved spending time with his family and considered his grandchildren to be his prized possession. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Haroldean Wiggins; and his grandparents, Chester and Ada Moss.

Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Wiggins; son, Tommy (Shannon) Prater; beloved grandchildren, Kadee Prater, Rhea Lenoir, Jazmine Talbert, Anna Talbert, Jonathan Hunt, and Shane McNeely; sister, Marion (Jimmy) Kerr; two nieces, Julie (Brad) Green and Emily (Forrest) Renner; great nieces, Hannah Green, Sara Katherine Green, Maggie Renner, Callie Renner and Olivia Renner; great nephews, Jacob Green, and Luke Renner; in-laws, David (Florine) Jenkins; and six loving pets, Toby, Tim, Jethro, Nikkie, Petey, and Callie Sue.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.

His family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
