William “Bill” Holcomb, 75, of Benton, as of November 16, 2019, is now pain free, resting in the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Bill was a member of Kinser Church of God and loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the beautiful mountains of Polk County. He was a truck driver for the Bradley Farmers CO-OP for many years. Bill loved spending time with his family and reading his Bible. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Caroline Holcomb; brother, Sammy Holcomb.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Holcomb; beloved son, Patrick (Shanan) Holcomb; grandchildren, Isabella Holcomb and Madelyn Holcomb; sisters, Ruby Sigler, Jo (Ray) Sims and Linda Sue (Dan) Webb; special cousins, Frank Holcomb and Paul Willis. Several nieces, nephews and loving brother and sister-in-laws also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Kinser Church of God with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Earls Cemetery with Jacob Silvers, Timothy Truelove, Anthony Willis, Lee Breedlove, Rev. Travis Bates and Josh Truelove serving as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Higgins Funeral Home and from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
